Paul credits two college professors with helping him see how science and engineering come together to drive practical solutions. Once he made that connection, he was sold on a career in engineering. He worked with a small consulting group, multi-national corporation and mid-sized architectural company before joining KFI, the place he feels exhibits all the best features of each. He appreciates the combination of a small-company feel with a large-company reputation for excellence, innovation and quality.

With over 22 years of project management and mechanical design experience, today Paul serves as a senior mechanical engineer within KFI's commercial department, specializing in K-12 education projects. He is an expert in energy efficiency and his extensive experience and adherence to sound design principals make him a valuable resource on every project. He's a pro at applying commercial and institutional HVAC design expertise that emphasizes energy-efficiency and operational flexibility for the life-cycle of buildings and systems. And he approaches every project with collaborative, multi-disciplinary design that takes time to focus on quality.

He fills his evenings and weekends with family, a variety of sports events and travel whenever he’s able to get away.

“The satisfaction of shepherding a building project from concept to completion provides consistency and incentive to drive teamwork and quality.”
