Drawn to engineering by the desire to build things, Tom spent 15 years working for a large EPC company before moving back to Minnesota and joining KFI, where he felt drawn to the company culture. “KFI excels at being an owner advocate and demanding the best outcomes for the projects we execute. Knowing that I can make a positive influence on the projects I am involved in energizes me to come to work every day and roll up my sleeves. I love our motto of ‘Find a way.’ We take a vested, personal interest in each project that we execute, and it shows.”

Tom is a licensed chemical engineer with over 15 years’ experience in the petrochemical, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. His expertise encompasses initial feasibility studies, conceptual engineering, front-end engineering, safety studies, detailed engineering, and construction and commissioning support. He has extensive experience in collaborative, multi-discipline, task force-based project execution.

Tom loves positively impacting people’s quality of life by improving existing processes and technologies to make products cheaper and more accessible to a greater percentage of the population. He also enjoys projects that have a positive impact on the environment, making the world a better place for future generations.

In his time away from the office, he golfs, coaches youth sports and spends time with his family.
