At Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital, KFI recently completed a project to replace the existing instrument air compressor, which served Medivator cabinets. The Digestive and Endoscopy Center was experiencing a significant increase in procedures, requiring additional equipment for processing scopes. As a result, KFI completed a study to evaluate the Endoscopy Centers’ current and future needs for instrument air. Once the study was complete, KFI met with Methodist Hospital and the Endoscopy Centers staff to review and agree upon the final compressor selection, allowing for redundancy, and future expansion within the same skid, as seen in the image above. Over the past weekend, the new system was brought online and certified.
