Construction Begins for the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Regional Office in Mankato

Construction is underway for the new Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Regional Office in Mankato, Minnesota. KFI commissioning staff are currently conducting construction observation site visits, with full commissioning of the Darcy geothermal system, HVAC, generators, lighting controls, and photovoltaic systems expected to begin in late November or early December and continue through May 2027.

The BCA-Mankato Regional Office will include a forensic laboratory and digital crime lab, increasing the speed and efficiency of crime scene response and evidence processing in southern Minnesota.
